This was somewhat of a September 11th-inspired piece -- yet somehow benign, with an innocent airplane, and a calm moment...

I consider this one of my masterpieces. (I have it up on my wall on a plexiglass borderless frame.)

This was the first time I tried simulating rain with volumetric materials. and grass terrains. My goal was to make it seem as real and possible.
Personally, I like most of all the serene meld of elements -- like the way I got the clouds to blend with the moon, and the city to blend with the sky.

I later turned this into a host of other pieces, such as [Sayonee] and [ Twilight's Choreography].

I like how the foreground opens up into the vast city scape like that. The rain does add atmosphere to the overall piece...
